Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI purchased a red dogwood (Commanche Brave) and just planted it a couple weeks ago. The flowers are just coming in and they are a very modest pink, rather than the dark pink, almost red that was advertised. Will the tree mature into darker pink flowers? Or is this tree a variant, that isn’t going to be as dark as advertised?

With age, it is possible that the color will darken. Note: a lot of images used in advertising are taken with filters over the lens, giving a false illusion of true color.
