Color of My Hydrangea Flower

Why is the color of my Hydrangea flower turning green? I live in Tucson, Arizona and the weather is hot and dry. I have the plant in a pot on the northside under my porch. I water it daily.

It could be the type of soil the plant is in. I know that affects whether blooms are pink or blue. My bush is blooming white this summer !
