Coleus Plants

Coleus

Anonymous added on September 24, 2011 | Answered

I have a wonderful large coleus that has been summering outdoors all season. With the upcoming fall (I live in southern CT), I realize it cannot stay outside much longer. Can I bring it in and how do I take care of it inside? How do I go about it?

You can certainly bring it indoors for overwintering (treating like a houseplant) but many people simply choose to take cuttings and keep them over winter instead. These articles will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/coleus/overwintering-coleus.htm
