Coleus Bulbs

Bought some coleous bulbs and planted as instructed. They all rotted! How is the RIGHT way to plant these bulbs?

Are you sure what you have is coleus? These are annuals, which do not grow from bulbs. Here is more info on growing these plants: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/coleus/coleus-plant-care.htm Perhaps what you have are actually caladium bulbs (or tubers), which may sometimes look similar to coleus plants.
