Q.Coffee Plant Diseases
I have been growing a coffee plant for about 10 years. In the last few months the leaves have started turning brown & falling off. There is obviously something seriously wrong with it. It was suggested by a gardening store that it needed transplanting so we did about a month ago. Didn’t seem to help. New leaves are coming out but they are also turning brown & falling off. Any ideas what could be wrong & what I can do to make it healthy again?

Did you move the plant's location? It sounds like it lost its ideal conditions. It needs humidity, well-drained soil, bright but indirect light, fertile, lightly acidic soil, and moist soil.
Also, have you checked the undersides of leaves and stems for pests such as mealybugs or spider mites? When you transplanted, did the roots look healthy? It could be root rot, but transplanting should have helped. Try increasing the humidty with a pebble tray. Set the plant's container on a tray of pebbles. Keep water in the pebble tray but low enough that it is not absorbed into the container, which could cause root rot.
