Though you can use coffee grounds as a fertilizer, the effects may take some time. It doe however work well as a soil additive.
Recommended fertilizer application for Strawberries is a balanced fertilizer, 10-10-10. Bone Meal or Blood Meal also are good organic sources of Nitrogen for your plants.
