Q.Cocoons in our tree

Zone Austin, Tx 79747 | cocoons2017 added on June 4, 2017 | Answered

Almost over night a cocoon appeared. It is white and quite high on the tree. I have read about several articles, but not sure what it is. It is white and capsule shaped. Now it is June 4th. What can I do to get rid off it? It is the only tree on the yard.
Thankful for help.
