Q.Clivia Seed Pods

Anonymous added on March 27, 2025 | Answered

My Clivia bloomed. I tried pollinating a couple of the blossoms. So, how soon can I expect to see seed pods? Wondering how long I should wait to see pods before cutting the flower stalk

I couldn't find the exact number of days to see seed pods but once the flowers drop off you should see some swelling where the flowers were if it was pollinated. Just leave the bloom stalk because this article says to wait a year before harvesting seeds. And it takes from 3 to 5 years for the new plants to produce flowers.
