Clivia Plants Leaves Froze- How To Tell If Roots Ok And Will It Survive?

Louisiana- new greenhouse of old windows and heaters didn’t keep up with 12• weather. My potted Clivia leaves suffered badly. How can I tell if roots survived? If there’s hope, do I cut the leaves all the way back?

This is unfortunate, but I would not take any actions until you know that the roots have made it through. This will require waiting. After you see new growth, and signs of recovery, you can cut off any badly infected growth. Proper care will be the only way forward. These articles will offer information on the plant and its care:
