Q.Clematis
I know that my type of clematis is supposed to be cut back in early spring, but I won’t be able to get to our summer home until June next year. Can I cut it back late this fall? Zone 4

It is best to wait until they go dormant, if you live in an area that gets some chilly weather. If not, then wait until the flowers bloom and drop to prune them.
