I just read about a non-climbing clematis “davidii”, but can’t find it anywhere. Where can I get more info, and can I grow it in Sacramento, CA?

Are you looking for Clematis heracleifolia var. davidiana? There are also Clematis "durandii" and "Danielle". There are Ca nurseries which carry these. I could not find "Davidii".
