Citrus Tree Watering

Question

I have a tangelo tree that was just planted last October. I was told to water it on Monday and Thursday for 20 minutes in the early morning during the winter months using my automatic drip system. How much and how often should it be watered during the summer months? We are in Mesa, Arizona.
