Q.Citrus tree dying

Zone 02118 | dariacaritano added on March 9, 2016 | Answered

I bought a potted Meyer lemon and lime tree in Feb. and now it is quickly dying. Leaves are turning yellow and fall off rapidly. Can you provide any guidance on what I should be doing to keep this tree healthy? The pH is around 7 or 8 and I water it once per week with about 1/4 gallon of water at a time. It sits next to a window that gets pretty decent sun.

Your potted Lemon tree needs a full sun location.
The soil should be consistently moist.
Yellowing leaves can indicate a watering issue; too much or too little.
It's best to check the soil instead of watering on a schedule.
