Q.Cider apple trees

Zone Shropshire | Dave1213 added on May 20, 2017 | Answered

Some of the leaves appear to be curling up and have a rusty colour.
On one particular tree the new fruit bearing shoots are falling off and it seems that they have been eaten.

What is the cause?
What can I do to improve the situation?
What would be the best treatment that I could use?

Many thanks in anticipation.
