Christmas cactus hasn’t bloomed in years

This is a very large cactus and quite full. I noticed that some of the branches actually look petrified. There is a noticeable brown color. The leaves are quite heavy and are hanging down. Could it possibly need to be repotted or divided? This plant is indoors until summer and then spends about 1 1/2 months on the porch.

Though there are steps to get the Christmas Cactus to bloom, I would start with making sure the plant is healthy.
Make sure the plant is not overwatered and suffering from root rot.
If the plant is quite large and not been repotted in some time, it may not be holding enough moisture or nutrition for the plant.
Check the soil by feeling of the surface and a few inches below. Is it wet or dry to the touch?

Yes, the plant can be divided and Christmas Cactus is very easy to propagate into new plants.
Here are several links to help you get your plant back in shape and hopefully blooming in the future.
