Christmas Cactus

I have a small to medium size Christmas cactus and have had it for a few months. It is starting to grow new leaves. However, the new leaves are a light brown on the edges and some look as if they have been torn. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The plant may be under watered. Water the plant right when the soil dries out.
