Christmas Cactus

Question

I have a Christmas cactus and was wondering what the best way to clean it would be. The leaves have water spots and dust on them and it doesn’t look pretty. I was told that if you touch the little ‘hairs’ on the ends, it won’t grow anymore. Is there some kind of home remedy that I can try to keep it shiny and healthy looking?

Provided that the plant isn't too wet right now, you could put it in the shower and give it a good misting to refresh its leaves.
