Question

I repotted it the same depth as it was before but was wondering if those parts at the bottom that the stems are coming out of are supposed to be covered with dirt or not?

The plant should be fine either way- it is used to being potted at this depth, so it should stay healthy this way. If it starts looking sick you can repot it slightly higher in the soil.
