Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy 50+ year old plant blooms twice every year. It has really grown the last few years. The stems or branches have gotten really thick. Looks like small tree bushes. should I cut off some of the green “cactus leaves” and repot? What should I do with these huge roots and branches? I am a naive gardener. This plant was my grandmother’s and my mother’s. I really don’t want to hurt it but these huge stems take away from the beauty. Thanks.

Yes, you can prune the Christmas Cactus to shape it back up, and even propagate new plants.
