Q.Christmas Cactus

Zone Richmond Va. | cwc1f8 added on April 8, 2015 | Answered

My Christmas cactus looks healthy and bloomed very nicely around Christmas, but now it is blooming again. At first I thought that this is great. I mean it looks pretty. But I noticed my other two plants, which are not blooming, have new leaves growing. The one that is blooming does not. Is the blooming keeping the plant from growing? All three plants stand on the same table in front of a window, with no direct sunlight.

After a christmas cactus blooms it will start to enter a growth period and put out new leaves. So you are right, the pause button has been hit for the moment!
