My tree is being eaten by little whitish worms all over the leaves in Late august so what can I do to save it?

It is difficult to id the pest, several insects and caterpillars can damage a Chinese Elm Tree.

Talk with your County Extension Office and take a sample for an id and treatment that is suited to your area.
