Q.china doll plant

Zone baldivis west australia | tpbader54 added on January 11, 2017 | Answered

I have a China Doll plant and it has flowers. My plant is 5 years old, and I pruned the top off because I have got it in a larger pot. Are the flowers poisonous? The flowers only come out at night.

The China Doll plant (Radermachera sinica) is not considered poisonous. And yes, this is one of those interesting night-blooming plants. It's normal for the flowers to only open at night.
