Chicken manure compost

I am growing tomatoes in pots. How often can I work the compost into the soil, or is it better to dissolve the compost into a tea and water them with it?

Compost can be incorporated into the soil prior to planting so that it is evenly distributed throughout. Compost tea can be given to your container plants once every two weeks.
