Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy husband brought a ‘pile’ of chicken manure to a corner in my garden. It came from another state (truckload). It is powdery dry. Is it OK to lightly spread that on the soil, till it in and then plant vegetables in that ground? I wish to plant some fall corn this week. The plan for the the truckload of chicken manure is to spread on a field (grain farmer) as an experiment. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.

After incorporating it into the soil, I would wait at least 2 weeks before planting veggies. May burn tender roots.
