Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have two chicken and hens, when I put them in my yard in the ground do they have to be planted side by side or can there be a little space between them? I want to grow as many as i can this year. Thank You.

It is possible for Hens & Chicks to get overcrowded but not for a couple of years, when you’ll have a mother plant and plenty of chicks. Go ahead & plant the two that you have with enough room to let them spread their underground runners: leave about twice as much space between them as the width of the largest plant.
