Should two cherry trees be planted together?

Most of the time a cherry does not necessarily have to have another tree for pollination, but it will produce more fruit on the tree year after year if there is another fruiting cherry nearby. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/cherry/cherry-tree-care.htm ^[1]
