Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just planted a North Star Cherry tree (a self pollinator), and a Van Cherry tree. The Van Cherry tree needs a pollinator.
My question is: Will the North Star Cherry tree be able to pollinate my Van Cherry tree or must I plant another Cherry tree that is compatible to the Van? Thank you.

North Star Cherry is not a pollinator for the Van Cherry.
Montmorency is the prime pollinator.
Here is a link with many other choices for a pollinator.
