Yellowing leaves can indicate watering issues; too much or too little, pests, disease and nutrient issues.
Inspect the leaves for any signs of pests, they can be small. Are there markings on the leaves? Is the weather dry, lack of rainfall? Poorly drained soil can cause root rot in a Cherry Tree.
