Chaste Tree

My Chaste tree has no leaves! New growth on trunk. I have had the tree almost two years and have never pruned or fertilized. Any recommendations on what to do

Check the stems, do they bend or snap. Branches that snap have died.

Do a scratch test on the branches. If you see green, it is still alive.
If you see signs of life, just wait for it to wake up and grow.

The loss of a tree can sometimes not be explained.
