Q.Cercis Canadensis, Which Variety Do I Have? (Judas)
On the label from the nursery, it states “Judas” but also “ canadensis”. I’ve looked up Judas redbud and it is called a C. siliquastrum. The nursery label also says “deep fuschia flowers”. It has light pink flowers. Can you tell me what variety it is? Thank you.

Judas tree is also the common name for an Eastern redbud tree. You likely have the US native Cercis canadensis which has a pink or light purple color. I would contact the nursery though to see if you have one of its cultivars.
