Anonymous added on March 30, 2014 | Answered

Is it safe to eat vegetables that have been urinated on by outdoor cats during their growing season? Particularly vegetables that won’t be cooked such as tomatoes.

As long as you wash them well, it is fine. Even the vegetables you buy in the store will come into contact with animal waste of some kind. Good hygiene through washing the fruits and vegetables is all you need to keep them safe to eat.
