Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in Northern Germany with my cat and dog in a rented apartment with a garden. I will not be putting any vegetables (or anything edible) in the ground, because, as it goes, Berlin, bombings, blah blah.
Anyway, my cat has decided that he likes to use the bathroom in one spot in the garden, and that’s actually fine with me, because like I said, not using the actual ground for growing vegetables. Just wondering if there is anything in particular that might thrive on cat feces/urine?

I see! Yes, this can, quickly, become a problem! Any animal that consumes meat will have quite the microbial array. This can pose risks to humans and animals in the area, but as long as nobody plays in it, then it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. It can even help to put some soil over top of it, or bury it, and even applying mycorrhizae for plants to the area to help it break down faster.
