Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have had a natal plum for 4 years shaped like a tiny tree. The foliage spreads from the top horizontally to one foot all around. In all 4 years it only produced one flower! Otherwise, it does well. How can I encourage flowering?

This tree prefers at least 4 hours of bright sunlight per day. Increase the sunlight to help promote flowering.
A half strength general fertilizer can be applied monthly, except during winter.
Too much Nitrogen can cause lack of flowering.

From May to October my Carissa plant gets to be on my deck with at least 4 hours or more of sunlight per day and it still does not flower.
