Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am from kerala, India and grow few rose bushes in my home.. I usually buy budded rose plants from nursery and i see that they are well established ( with long stem and big blooms)…The stems looks green and healthy…When we buy them and grow in our home, they will never grow like in nurseries.. I prepare potting mixture with sand, soil and cocopeat and transfer the plants to pots and after some days , will give some chemical fertilizer.. But i observe that the rose canes begin to change its colour and stems look dry … I dont know why it happens.. Can u please explain why this is so??? In nurseries, what they are giving to budded rose plants for this vigorous growth and large beautiful blooms after budding???

I'm sure everyone has that question. Nurseries grow their roses in a controlled environment with precise watering and fertilizing. I would visit the nursery where you buy your roses and get some tips from them on how they grow their roses.
