Caring for Tulips After Blooming

I recently obtained a few potted tulips. I would like to know if I need to trim, and if so, when and how far down the plant in order to keep my tulips for next year. I’m in Florida, so I need to know how to preserve my bulbs too.

You should not trim the leaves. This is how the bulbs build up energy for next year. Once the leaves go yellow on their own, you will need to pre-chill them to get them to bloom for next year. This article has information: [1]
