care of Turtle Head plant

Do I cut off the tall dry shoots from the plant? These have dried brown buds on them. Do these survive and turn into flowers? Thank you. Annette

The dried brown buds won’t turn into flowers. If the plant has already flowered, the dry seedheads will probably produce seeds soon. You can leave these in place if you like their appearance, or cut them off, it’s your choice.

If the plant has not flowered, but the flower buds dried out before opening, that indicates a problem. Perhaps the plants did not get enough water or there is a problem with the roots.
