Q.Care of Tulips After They Bloom

Anonymous added on May 15, 2011 | Answered

This is the first time I have planted tulips. They have bloomed, but I am not sure what to do now that they have bloomed and the flowers are gone. Do I remove the stems?

You can get rid of the stems, but leave the leaves until they turn yellow. The leaves are how they build energy for next year's blooms.
