Q.Care of Crape Myrtle

Anonymous added on May 23, 2014 | Answered

My crape myrtle has new growth. It is the second year that I have had it. It is a small bush like plant. It is a hybrid not quite 2 ft tall. There are a few branches that do not have any growth and appear to be dead. Should I cut them off? As this is a new plant for me, I do not know anything.

Yes, if these branches are not pliable or green beneath the bark, you can simply remove them.
