Care for transplanted Sago

we recently had our double crowned Sago palm moved from our front to back yard and are concerned about its survival after 3 1/2 weeks. It’s located in a well drained sandy soil which i have built a 4″ high dam around about 6′ in diameter. Per the landscaper after damming the base we have watered,1st week morning and night, 2nd week watered once a day, third week watering every other day. Each watering I saturate the soil allowing water to pool in the dam and then soak into soil. The Sago had a couple prawns that were yellowish initially. Now several have yellowed around the top and one died. We need feedback.
Questions, Is this normal, are we under/over watering, and when should I begin fertilizing the Palm and what’s best fertilizer for a transplanted Sago. Photos attached.

Since Sago Palms do not like to be disturbed, it’s not unusual for your plant to be showing signs of stress.
