Care for stressed magnolia trees

I’ve had four magnolia trees transported from ground to pots and three look like they are on they’re way out.
What can I do to save them?
Tks

You will want to remove the leaf growth that has died off. Then you will remove the dead stem down to the green part. You will want to get this into ground, or very good potting soil, and a fairly large container very soon. This will take a little while to recover. Make sure to keep it moist, but not fully wet or dry until it recovers.
