Care for Crepe Myrtles in NJ

I live in Zone 7 in southwestern NJ and am wondering if I can keep my Crepes in pots (bonsai) in my unheated garage over the winter.    It can get as cold as 5° or maybe a bit colder at times.

They should be ok in the garage. Just remember to water them once a month and you may want to wrap their containers in a blanket or towels, just as an extra precaution.
