What is the botanical name – is this a true cabbage or a hybrid of cabbage and lettuce?

It's a mini cabbage with pointed head that is a hybrid of two or more cabbage varieties (Brassica oleracea var. capitata). Cabbage cannot cross with lettuce as they are different species.
