Canna lillies in zone 6

HOw do I store the lily plant after I have dug it out of it’s garden home when temperatures are too cold for the plant? Thanks!

I'm confused whether you are asking about calla lilies or canna. Both have to be dug up in the fall, dried for several days then stored in a cool, dry place.
