Canna lillies

Ihave a yellow canna that’s about I foot tall. It is blooming beautifully – next to the plant {in the pot) five new shoots are coming up. What should I do?

There is nothing to be done at this time. They can crowd a little with no problem. Now, when it is time for them to go dormant, or if you have to force them then when they are dormant you can , then, split them up and store them.
