Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI would like to know if canna lilies grow in water? We have a man-made lake backyard here in central Florida. I don’t know if they will survive in water if I put the whole canna lily pot I purchased from. I see a lot of pictures of canna lilies growing from water. I also have a sloped backyard. How far from lake can I plant them? Depending on rainy season, lake water rises about a foot. Where’s the best spot to plant them?

Canna Lily would not be able to grow in a water environment.
There are many other choices of plants for a pond location.
Here is a link that will help you.
