canna lilies care

Question

I have a large canna with about 12 stalks that is in a large pot. I had it out doors but when it got cold I brought in in doors. Its still flowering ,do I need to cut it down and winterize it or can I just leave it indoors all winter and let it keep growing? will doing that still allow it to bloom in the spring when I split it and put it back outside in pots?

You can put them outside until the top of the plants start to die back naturally. After this, then you can cut them and winter them over.
