Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have canna lilies in the backyard at my house in Texas that were here when I bought the house. We had a freeze this past winter and I did not replant them to bring inside. The leaves are all brown and dead, but they have started new growth in the past few days/weeks.
Should I cut away all of the dead, brown leaves?
Brown thumb,
🙁

Yes, cut away the brown leaves/stems. Canna has a big tuber that will have stored enough energy to send up a new plant. There are YouTube videos on how to divide Canna if you are interested. Now would be a perfect time.
