Canna bulbs and Dahlia

I was just given many cana bulbs to plant in spring
Thinking of putting them in a containe
With dahlias?
Will this work?

Canna bulbs and dahlias can indeed be grown in pots. See these articles for information:

To grow them together, just make sure the pot is large enough to accomodate the mature size of both plants, and they should do well.
