half and half pickle juice on Christmas Cactus

Can you use half and half pickle juice on Christmas Cactus plants? I have always used half water-half pickle juice on my Gardenia bush and was wondering if Christmas Cactus is another acid loving plant.

Christmas cactus are said to prefer a slightly acidic potting mix with a pH of between 5.5 to 6.2 for optimum growth. The recommended pH for a gardenia is between 5.0 to 6.5. So, as you can see, there is some overlap in those pH ranges, so you probably could use pickle juice on your Christmas cactus plants.
