can you use epsom salts in the spring and summer in pensacola fl

I used epsom salts last year in the back end of my yard and it seems like the grass is growing.
Don’t remember when I used it. Can you use it in the spring and summer for the grass growth?
Not in the fall and winter of course.

Routine use of Epsom salts can lead to excessive, damaging amounts of magnesium in the soil. If you don't have a magnesium deficiency, the salts have no benefit and there are better products for lowering pH.
